user manual

sculpt

6. drag on the mesh to sculpt with the active brush

7. resize brush: [ ] keys, hold S + drag, middle-drag on surface, or Apple Pencil squeeze + drag

8. MOD (Ctrl) flips brush mode - clay becomes subtract, smooth becomes decimate, etc.

9. hold Shift while sculpting to temporarily switch to the smooth brush at the same brush size

10. brush sensitivity adjusts pressure response - available per brush

11. dynamic topology auto-splits and simplifies as you sculpt - toggle per brush

12. symmetry mirror-sculpts across an axis - symmetrize applies it to existing geometry

13. subdivide adds resolution - remesh rebuilds uniform topology at a set voxel density - bake / unbake for multi-resolution sculpting

masking

14. paint a mask to protect areas from other brushes - MOD to unmask

15. extract masked creates a new mesh from the masked region - in mask options below the mask button

16. extract shell creates a thin shell from the mask boundary - in mask options below the mask button

form / CSG

17. add primitives and combine with booleans: union, subtract, intersect

18. position and scale with the gizmo before applying - snaps by default, hold MOD (Ctrl) to disable

19. smoothness slider controls how soft the boolean blend is

pose

20. click to place anchors, drag to deform

21. Ctrl+click removes an anchor

22. freeze bakes the deformation - clear removes all anchors

paint

23. paint vertex colors with brush or spray - MOD to erase

24. blend smooths colors together

25. fill floods the mesh with current color - clear wipes all paint

26. switch channels: albedo, roughness, metallic - toggle each on/off for active painting, filling, and clearing

light

27. toggle dome to show the light sphere - click: add, drag: move, Alt+click: delete

28. adjust intensity and color per light

29. environment presets: studio, sunrise, forest, city, courtyard, sunset, night, interior - CC0, Greg Zaal & Philip Modin

ink & paper

30. draw ink strokes on the 3D surface - they follow the geometry

31. paper mode applies a stylized illustration look (Kuwahara filter)

32. tune with valleys (dark crevices), peaks (highlights), chisel (edges)

33. mix blends between standard rendering and full paper mode

camera

34. lens effects: distortion, chromatic aberration, dirt, noise

35. color grading: exposure, contrast, saturation, temperature, tint, fade

36. sensor presets: full frame, APS-C, micro 4/3, iPhone

export & import

37. export render as PNG, JPG, or EXR

38. export mesh as OBJ or tamga format

39. import OBJ to sculpt on existing models

40. auto-recovery saves your work and restores after crashes

shortcuts

41. Ctrl/Cmd+Z - undo / Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z - redo

42. [ ] - brush size down / up

43. S + drag - brush size adjust

44. Ctrl - alternate brush mode / Alt - force camera
